Denplan is an affordable monthly payment plan which can cover a wide range of dental treatments and essential maintenance for the whole family. It is an easy way of keeping up the great habit of regular check-ups with your dentist, so you’ll always get expert advice about keeping your teeth in great condition and avoid any surprises. Your plan also includes dental x-rays and hygiene treatment and the worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover with a dental emergency helpline included too.

How do I set up a dental plan with Denplan?

Your dental plan is easy to set up and helps to budget for your private dental care. Simply call or pop into our dental practice where we can arrange the application on your behalf. You can add family members to your plan at the same time or at any time in the future. If you are all on the same direct debit Denplan will offer a discount off your monthly cost ranging between 5% and 15%. 5% off for 2 group members. 10% off for 3 group members. 15% off for 4 or more group members.

How do I know which dental plan to join?

The dentist Alex and the Denplan champion Ruth will guide you through the process of choosing the best plan to suit your dental need as well as you pocket. Everyone’s oral health needs are different therefore your dentist will let you know what is best for you.

The amount you pay for your plan is decided by your dentist, this is dependent on the plan best suited to you and the category chosen. A pre assessment is not needed for the Essentials plan but is needed for the Care plan and Children’s plan to assess if you are orally fit (no current dental work is needed).

How do I pay for the dental plan?

All plans are to be paid by the patient on a monthly direct debit, this payment is paid directly to Denplan who then make the relevant payment to your dentist on your behalf. We will set up the plan for you at the practice, all we need is your name, address and bank details, let us do the rest. Once the plan has been processed you will receive a conformation letter from Denplan confirming this.

How do I pay for treatments?

Payment for all treatments is paid directly to your dentist, this is usually on a ‘pay as you go’ basis as you have the treatment done unless other terms have been agreed upon by the dentist and the patient to make payments over a longer period of time.

What are some of the benefits of joining Denplan?

All plans include:

Denplan family group discount (eg: Essentials Plan A)
2 people = 5% discount each off the plan price
3 people = 10% discount each off the plan price
4 or more people = 15% discount each off the plan price

All plans provide you with worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover (supplementary insurance) which Denplan arranges on your behalf if you are away from home in the UK or abroad, just call the customer helpline and they do the rest for you. If you need an emergency appointment whilst within a 40 mile radius of your home it’s very simple, just call us at the practice and we will see you on the same day or the very next day to relieve you of pain free of charge.

All plan patients receive half price prescriptions which are dispensed from us directly at the practice.
